A letter to those I thought I knew…

backstabI’ve known for awhile that certain individuals have been talking behind my back, saying horrible and hurtful things about me. Things that are not true. This has come from family, friends, people who I love. When I confront them, I’m met with silence, deflection, even the outright pretending not to hear me.

So this is my last attempt to get through to YOU, those who have come to believe the worst about me.

I am not a bigot.

I am not a racist.

No, I don’t suffer from “internalized misogyny”.

No, I do not want to see Mexicans,Muslims or Homosexuals rounded up and put in camps.

When have I EVER supported such hateful, insane views?

The answer is NEVER.

It is true I am not a Hillary supporter. I have never made that secret. I voted for Bernie. I supported Bernie in the election. Bernie is and was the best candidate for the job.

So you’re upset about Trump’s victory. Fine, but I refuse to be a target for your rage. Direct your anger towards those who are deserving.

Direct your anger toward the DNC for propping up the only Democrat on the planet capable of losing to a reality TV star.

Allow me to make one last thing perfectly clear: As a proud citizen of the United States I will fight to preserve the freedoms and liberties this country was founded upon. If our government does start rounding people up and putting them into camps I am more than willing to pickup a rifle and defend the rights of EVERYONE, regardless of race or creed—include you, the friends and family who accuse me of wanting to take away rights from minorities, gays, Muslims, women, Mexicans etc.

All Beauty Destroyed by Aesthetic Perfection

And everyone is so kind
With the lies that they tell themselves
‘Cause everyone is so blind

To the truth that they’re ugly inside
When the mirror’s laughing
Time takes over
You should know
We’re rotting away

There’s no
Nothing left for me
When all beauty’s destroyed
There’s no
Nothing left to see
Once all beauty’s destroyed

And everyone is so torn
Between truth and a false veneer
Well no one wants to be alone
In the wake of their faults and fears
If you don’t stop scratching
Wounds reopen
As we slowly start to decay

Lie for you
Die for you
Beg for you
Bleed for you

It’s all you want
It’s all you need

Walk Away – Cruxshadows

In this fading image
we’ll carve our destiny
sometimes life is a cruel friend
sometimes that’s what we need

I’ll hold my eyes when the
light comes in
I’ll sell my silence for a song
now I won’t die if you walk away
but I may not live

Now I watch as the rain comes down
to purify this pain
when mountains crumble and stars collide
I am what remains

There are lessons that sadness
can only teach
there are things that we must learn
now I won’t die if you walk away
but I may not live

The Dems have made their bed…

mapLast night’s election results have been met with a lot of fear and anger. I get it and  I understand. But lets give credit where credit is due. Don’t forget who put us all in this position in the first place. Right now what the Democratic National Party (DNC) needs is take a long hard look in the mirror. President Trump would never have happened if the Democrats had backed a better candidate. Lets be honest, they could have ran just about ANYBODY else in the party and defeated Trump. Instead, they ran Hillary Clinton who is quite possibly the ONLY democrat in politics today that is so disliked and distrusted that Americans would rather suffer through four years of Trump than deal with her.

Don’t believe the hype. Trump’s victory isn’t about gender, or race, or even Islamic terrorism. Trump was a protest vote. For Republican, a Trump vote was a statement against what the RNC has become over the years. For Democrats, Trump was a statement against Debbie Wasserman Shultz’s reign, Obamas failures at home and abroad, and the fact that Hillary embodied everything wrong with the Party.

The DNC should have backed Bernie, not conspired against him. Even with all the DNC’s dirty tricks, the media’s embargo of his campaign, and vote rigging, Bernie STILL won the popular vote in the primaries. Bernie was the people’s choice.

Yes, get mad. Scream with rage! But be sure to direct it towards those responsible for this mess– the Democratic National Committee. Tell them you are infuriated that they foisted upon us a candidate who is a walking political and legal scandal. A candidate whose position on issues changes depending on who she’s speaking with and how much money they are giving her campaign. A candidate charged with voter fraud and under FBI investigation. A candidate that is unable to understand what “top secret” means or how emails work. A candidate that has been vocal of her hatred toward men, has spoken openly about entering into another war in the middle east, who has foreign nations like Saudi Arabia funding her, and whose health problems call into question her judgment, her sanity, and her mental cognitive abilities.

Tell them to pick somebody the people actually want. Tell them to pick somebody the people will actually vote for. Tell them to back somebody like Elizabeth Warren in the next four years, and to remember that there job is to serve THE PEOPLE and not themselves and their personal agendas.

CASEFILE: ARKHAM RETURNS!

CFA2coverThe acclaimed supernatural noir series returns with another hardboiled tale about a detective, a dame, and the vengeful spawn of an ancient god.

Earlier this year author Josh Finney (World War Kaiju) and artist Patrick McEvoy (Lost In Space) turned heads with CASEFILE: Arkham. Described by critics as a perfect blending of the hardboiled detective fiction of Raymond Chandler and the eldritch horror H.P. Lovecraft, the graphic novel plunged reader into the darkest corners of Arkham, New England. Hot on the heel of this success, 01Publishing has launched a Kickstarter to bring readers the another tale from the casefile of detective Hank Flynn.

When an old friend shows up at Flynn’s office waving a gun and rambling about “the Abyss of the Shoggoths,” the detective is pulled into a case of love, revenge, and an elite family’s generational feud—one which just so happen to have interbred with the spawn of a Sumerian God. Entitled CASEFILE: Arkham: Her Blood Runs Cold, the graphic novel is intended to run approximately 120 pages, plus additional content.
